This year we are excited to release our self-funded artist in residence program and it will be hosted at the iconic Crayshack.
Available dates include - May / June / July / August / September
We are looking for artists, who have a love of nature and the sea.
About the Crayshack
Crayshack is an authentic Tasmanian beach side shack on the water. Located at 6 Armstrong Ave, Killiecrankie. There are 3 queen rooms, 1 outside loo & shower, fully equiped kitchen, day bed, smart tv, laundry, BBQ & outdoor fire pit.
Please note the toilet and shower is accessed outside the shack. This is not an issue for us, however we want you to be aware of this.
Located right on Killiecrankie Beach with views across the bay, the Crayshack is a dreamy escape where shoes are very much optional! Featuring 3 bedrooms, a fully newly renovated kitchen, dining area and day beds. It now has a cosy indoor wood heater, outdoor baths and (we think) one of the best outside showers in Australia! The outside loo and laundry is a highlight of the property. The large wooden deck is ideal for morning coffee and evening cocktails or saying g'day to the local wallabies.
The Crayshack has an authentic, Tassie shack vibe in the best sort of way, its eclectic and finishes make you appreciate the seaside life. Everything here is custom and the amazing custom linen and towels by Quoin The Label make this property feel amazing. The Crayshack has been listed in many of the best Tasmanian shack features and you can't get a better location or vibe when staying on Flinders.

A discount code for the On Island Time Larder & Bar.
Ample fire wood and additional linen/towels on request.
There is the ability for us to host an exhibition at the end of your stay for a group of locals which will include nibbles and drinks.
Price - $2,200/week.
We are accepting applications for a minimum of 2 week up to 8 weeks.

Application process;
We would love you to tell us in an email your nominated month of stay, a little bit about yourself, why you would love to stay on Flinders, what projects you are working on. We will get together and look at all applications. Guests will be announced via our socials.
